No Long Term Contract ...
Here at X1 we chose not to use long term contracts. At X1 we just use a standard 60 day agreement notice with a small agreement on network abuse. Our contract is a simple one page agreement, not a huge document that goes on & on with terms you don't understand. Our contract is straight forward and easy to understand.
You ask yourself why No Contract
Here at X1 we believe you should have rights to get the best service available for your company. With most other provider contracts, once you sign that agreement for one to three years you lose all your rights as a consumer to get the quality of service you deserve.
Long term contracts allows Telco to do most anything. The sales rep is banking on your company that you don't read the full contract. The salesman knows that 95% of all people who sign these contracts only reads the first paragraph or just don't understand what they are reading so they say to themselves ( This is my only option Right? ) The salesman agrees.
Technology Changes
What most people don't understand is that technology changes every 6 months and so does broadband services. This includes VoIP / Video conferencing / credit card processing / Security Cameras / Large files. All these service requires fast upstream connection. Most all standard packages only have a 256 or 512 upload stream. If you ask for more upload speed and you are under a contract, the price just skyrocketed. Not here at X1. We have Broadband On Demand.
